The long purple dress caught my eye immediately. Beautiful drape, 100% silk, and a price that felt more approachable. I’d add my pearls and boots for a little contrast.

THE GIRL BEHIND THE STITCH
About In the Stitch.
I’m Callie, a writer with a very small wardrobe and far too many clothes in it. My head is much the same, but at least the clothes in there don’t need hangers.
I started In the Stitch because I had all this interest and nowhere to really put it. There weren’t many people around me who wanted to talk about fashion quite as much as I did, so I made somewhere to share it.
A little more about me
I’ve always wanted to do a bit of everything: write, design, style, model. I love watching runway shows, reading magazines, learning about designers, and putting pieces together until an outfit feels right. Sometimes that means trying to sew something myself; sometimes it means spending hours on Vogue or getting a little carried away shopping.
Here, you’ll find my thoughts on collections and collaborations, styling tips, outfit ideas, and ways to wear the pieces you already own. There’ll be things I’m making, things I’m loving, and people whose personal style I want to know more about.
I’m still finding my way through all the things I want to be. In the Stitch gives me somewhere to bring them together and share my take on fashion with you.
